Asian cultures regard the color white, not black, to be related to death. So white hair is befitting characters that are supposed to be threatening or having a particularly tragic past. Much as Moses's hair is supposed to have turned white when he saw God, in Japan, one's hair becomes white after witnessing something extremely brutal or tragic, such as the death of one's parents... which, y'know, happens to just about every protagonist in anime.

That, and red eyes are threatening and unique and cool n stuff.

And if there's a lot of female characters, they keep having to use another color for their hair/eyes. I guess it just comes up in the rotation.

Final explanation: It's Japan. They don't care. They'll put in what they think is cool. Look at the ceiling of Gendo Ikari's office in NGE. It's the ten sephirot of Jewish kabbalah (not that red string shit Madonna does). Why is it there? No reason. The creator just thought it was cool.

Whoever made her MMD model, I think I love them. Even though she looks pretty skinny, that hips and ass action on her is out of this world.
