Kappa suck anyway. They're so polite that they feel obliged to bow back to you when you greet them, which spills the bowl of water that gives them their powers. Then you're left with a completely defenseless youkai that you can do whatever you want with. Suiko are slightly worse (if only because they're fuckhuge) but they can be killed back with sympathetic magic immediately after they make their first kill.

Kappa, not so good.
