Also, sorry for the shoddy play at the beginning, it took me a little while to get used to your strange Yuyuko! A few suggestions, if I'm not too presumptuous: poking out of pressure is something that you should do only once in a while, if you see the opportunity. That way it is there as a threat, and the opponent ends up being more wary on pressure without you actually doing anything, just because that threat is there. I would recommend using airtechs more sparingly as well.

After doing some tests, at max it does around 2k damage if most rocks hit. The damage from the skill is very random because it depends on the amount of rocks that hits the opponent. I think the maximum amount of charges you can do is six. The amount of rocks being tossed up/down increases as you level up the skill. Lv1 - 2-3, LvMAX 2-6. It's not a bad skill, but the card slots can probably be spent with something better such as bombs or guard reversals.

It feels nice to play all the characters again. I usually strictly use Suwako, since 12.3 first came out. Before then my main was Iku which I wanted to try out again.

ggs Birdget, you know, you abandon your pressure way too often just to j.6C, it's not all in all that great a move to use all the time, it really just drives the match into a standoffbattle of patience, I admit I'm not that good at it and start playing with "eh, hell, let's get this round over with already" but against someone who is patient it's often just wasting you spirit for nothing. I like to build a pattern and condition people to get used to that pattern. From there I switch things up little by little. It not only helps me build more variety from setting a condition but it also blind sides the opponent when an entirely new move comes out.

This game has a perfectly good blocking system I highly recommend that you use it, unfortunately even if you are Youmu, you melee is not invincible and can easily be beaten if you just randomly use it. Also, don't be so happy on wasting spirit, the bullets have their uses, but in under no conditions should you hammer them like that. If it had anything to do with my ability to successfully counter, I would've figured out a way around it in the large amount of time I was fighting against it. Every time I adapted, all he had to do was make the slightest of a change and it was back to square 1 for me.

And I know there's no point in fixing something that isn't broke, but this is different. Using the exact same combo with every character in every fight for at least 3 hours is a bit much.

Since he's in the air, I have to jump before hitting him, but that's just the opening he wants, and he brings my health down to half with one combo. So I try not jumping and waiting for him to come to me and then I attack. Well, that doesn't work either because Remilia is a rather close ranged melee attacker and cannot outrange anyone...except maybe Cirno. So I attack, only to end up getting hit first every time because of the difference in range and lose the other half of my health. Round 2.

Ok, this time I'll try blocking the whole thing and grazing my way out of it when the enemy uses danmaku based attacks. Well sadly, when jumping past him, I'm incapable of attacking because Remilia sucks at moving and attacking at the same time when in the air, and he just jumps into the air and does it again untill it hits.

Next I could try poking him in between his attacks, but then...the quickest move Remilia has is her sitting uppercut and it's not even close to being instant. So all that manages to do is make me stop blocking and get hit by the combo again. KO, fight's over.

what he said. the only time you're able to airtech is when you've already reached the juggle limit, meaning you're completely invulnerable until you either airtech or get back up from the ground. this isn't blazblue, lol.

airteching is a bad habit, although never airteching makes for a pretty stale and slow match, so it's good to do it sometimes. i'll airtech a lot and block and let my opponent do some aerial blockstrings just so the momentum of the match doesn't turn into shit, but that's another story i guess.

well, it's their right to attack you on your wakeup. kind of expected. don't be in such a rush to escape, especially with a meaty attack coming your way. you can use remilia's dp a few times on wakeup to discourage too much melee okizeme, but otherwise it's something you're going to have to take. also, once you stop airteching so much, you can ground tech. if your opponent guesses wrong then you're generally back to neutral grounds.

anyways, not much else i can say on that. you'll learn over time how to escape this kind of stuff and realize it's not as overpowered as it might seem to you now, so just practice. i'm pretty sure i know who you were playing and last we played, escaping his pressure was pretty much something i could autopilot. you're just doing something horribly wrong, so stop blaming him and think about what you're doing.

oh and! remilia is a really bad character for a beginner. she's so awkward that you skip the learning of a lot of important mechanics in this game. you should pick up a sub char.

Good Games MSY. There were a lot of close matches but you managed to pull it out in pretty much all of them. I've got to stop getting those little hits that go nowhere.

Also I wish I could randomly toss out my 5 card super and get good results from it (don't pay attention to this, I know they weren't really random and most were good reads based of my predictable style)

Not much to say, but you should really level up your broom rides, since if you level it up to level 1, you can do another broom ride straight after the first one, making it less punishable. Flying into 2A, or spamming 6C repeatedly will work on bad players like me, but as a rule of thumb if you can predict an attack coming a second in advance it shouldn't work at all.

Also, Remilia's 22A, like various other moves with some setup time, can be easily punished if you just block and whack afterwards.
