With the fall of Leningrad, that would have been a major blow to moral for the Soviets, and would have allowed army group north to swing south and make a counter attack back to Moscow with Army group center, attacking from two sides. Remember Stalingrad didn't start until July 42. WE COULD HAVE HAD CONTROL OF MOSCOW AND LENINGRAD BY THE END OF 41. STALINGRAD, ARKHANGELSK AND THE CAUCUS WOULD HAVE BEEN AN EASY VICTORY.
