After Kouryuu's done with Da Capo II and the Edelweiss re-edit. Da Capo II's translation seems to be finishing up, and there was some work done on Edelweiss before.

I'm beginning to wonder if they'll ever complete the Big Bang Beat sequel. It's a shame the game never got a bigger competitive player base or netplay; netplay would have helped its lifespan tremendously(as, apparently, would have better patches, but they don't really bother me too much--I wish I had an opponent so I could make a real judgment).

Yeah, that's what I've heard. I've played the demo, although it's a little disappointing that after all this time they've only got two characters they feel are worth showing(although I guess I am pretty ignorant on what that may actually mean from a development standpoint).

I'm not sure whether the engine redesign will change how the game plays/feels, but I don't think they'd do something like that on too drastic a level. I'm just hoping they don't drop the project because I really enjoy the first one(although I can't really play outside of training/arcade mode).
