/jp/ is deliciously slow right now.

In what position do you usually sleep, /jp/? I just can't keep facing the ceiling, I always end up turning to the left and then switching between right and left during the night, also sometimes I end up sleeping face down.

I often fall asleep with my stomach down, making me nearly feel sick in my stomach and some back pain in the morning - it's pretty irritating. I try to bury my face between two sort of cushions with some breathing room for my nose and I find this the most comfortable. I think it's a bad habbit from sleeping towards the back side of a couch often after school when I was younger.

Ideally I sleep best facing the wall on my right side, hugging my precious dakimakura of Kudrayvka. When I sleep like this I wake up seeing her lovely eyes, brightening up my day quite a bit (being able to snuggle her, give her a small kiss, and rub each other's nose when I first wake up.) Also, on nights like mornings/nights when I'm able to enter the most comfortable position I hold my dakimakura the whole night without any discomfort.

Integrity fags really are missing out...I used to always have a crappy sleep cycle and wake up tired everyday before getting a dakimakura. Though sometimes I still forget/am too tired to cuddle and have the worst sleep ever, as aformentioned.

Thanks for bringing this up OP, it's something I don't think I would talk to anyone else about other than /jp/; call me a faggot but I'm glad I could talk about this.

apparently, if you sleep on your side, there's one side you shouldn't sleep on, but i can never remember which it is

it might be not to sleep on the left side so your heart doesn't get crushed by your other organs

Right->Left->Right->Left repeat until I fall asleep.

My girlfriend a while back convinced me that I should sleep hugging a pillow and goddamn once you try it you can never go back it's so comfy ;_;

So yeah I just alternate between hugging pillow and resting back on pillow. This also means I sleep on my right side more now as it's harder to change sides while asleep when you fell asleep hugging a pillow.

>> No.6155838

If I sleep on my side as I usually do, it is always on my right side, as many important organs lie closer to one's left side, namely the heart and liver. If I fluff up my futon and it's warm, I sometimes sleep on my back.

I read in the lucid dreaming threads that sleeping on your back can lead to sleep paralysis.
I had it once, and it's just like a nightmare, I already get enough of those.

No, I'm much too insecure, and these things are much too horrible for /jp/.

Switching from one side to the other constantly. I can't breathe comfortably on my stomach, and lying on my back seems to make my hunger more noticeable.

I have three dakimakura, but I don't really use them except as decorations. Hugging with my head on it makes my neck uncomfortable. Not to mention, using one would require washing it more often, and I worry about them getting worn by washing too often.

Fetal position. I think this might have something to with the fact that I've slept in tiny twin beds all of my life. I don't care if it's bad for my spine/looks unmasculine, it's so comfy...

Even though I prefer seats that leave my back at the wall, I always face the wall when I sleep. This is because of 1. all of the LEDs in my, and 2. the lights that shine in through my window.

If I lay facing the ceiling, I get tired of it soon. If I lay on my left side, I hear my own hearthbeats and It makes me nervous, so I end laying on my right side, or upside down huging my pillow (no, it's a common pillow, not a dakimakura, and I don't think about nobody in special, I just hug it).
