We have to look at things logically here. It's quite possible that George hid Battler's letter from Shannon, George is yandere for Shannon.

Does that make him the culprit? Not really, all George needs to do is kill Battler to avoid being NTR'd.

I think there was someone manipulating him, saying "Y'KNOW GEORGE BATTLER AND SHANNON SURE ARE CLOSE" or something to that effect.

Basically, if we don't have Shannon as the culprit, we have someone who really hates the fuck out the Ushiromiyas. And George may be an insecure dude, but I don't think he would want the entire family to be killed. I'm thinking that between 1984 and 1986, someone decided to mind rape the shit out of Shannon.

And, that someone seems to have succeeded. Or Shannon did it because she just spontaneously decided that murder was really cool, take your pick.

For the last fucking time, Battler didn't say anything about telling the truth.

As for the rest of you:

Yes, there is a huge hole left in Yasu's motive. A two year hole, to be exact. Will understood what it was, but didn't say anything. Leon theorized that it was the stuff about furniture, but he is specifically the Watson character, which means he's just giving his theory.

Nevertheless the game is clear that those two years are what turned Yasu to her plan to murder. So stop saying her past doesn't make sense as a motive, because it was never meant to BE her motive. The only thing her past does is explain "how" she exists and "who" she is, not the WHY of her actions.

I'm sure there's more to the story with Kyrie and Rudolf. It's an incomplete truth without love, but it's truth.

But if it wasn't truth, there is no reason this episode couldn't have just started out with the tea party, with Bern chaining Ange and possibly Leon to their chairs and making them watch. The entire point of her dragging in Will was that he gave her the opportunity to show what laid behind the illusion.

There's nothing to agree, that's how it is, she says it. Now that the truth has been revealed, fantasy can't escape it, that's why Leon gets killed. The whole point of Leon getting killed is that the truth caught up with the fantasy/fiction.
And we have the red truth that so many want to doubt when before they accepted red truth blindly.

George who get more insistent with Shannon and eventually manage to make her fall for him.

Kanon and Jessica's relationship who get more heated and though nothing happened yet it was clear they had budding feelings for each others.

All the parents have big money trouble with some who could even go to prison.

And Battler who will finally come back.

Maybe Yasu wanted to help his family financial problem but he also wanted to confirm his feelings for the cousins.
But he thought that he could never be with them due to his body.
So he decided to have this huge deadly game, if the parents win they get all the gold, if Yasu wins he gets the confirmation of his feelings and the conclusion of the love pentagon in a deadly way.

Basically for him it was:
Parents: if they win they get the gold, otherwise they die, it's fair.
Cousins sans Maria: I love them and they love me, but our love could never be so we should all die and be happy in the after life, everybody will be happier this way.
