Episode 6 stuffs

Battler planned everything, including the logic error and getting trapped in the room.

Not only does it make the story much more coherent, but Lambdadelta, someone who knows the entire truth, praised Battler for his "logic error", saying that he surpassed Bern as one who created miracles instead of waiting for one. And if there's a solution to it, then it wasn't really a Logic Error. It was all an elaborate plot to force Beato to revive. He even goes so far as to awkwardly say, "Oh, if only the real Beatrice was here. She'd think of a solution in no time flat." And later, everyone is waiting for Beatrice to show up, to the point of calling her late! To say nothing of the Kinzo parallels of Battler trapping himself in an eternal locked room, pushing all his chips on one space to revive BEATOORIICHE.

Nah I'm sure hes fine with people reading it for just mindless entertainment, I think he was more lashing out at people who bitch and moan about everything. The one negative aspect of the umineko fanbase has been how fucking crazy people get when they pick a side in the current debate.

There was fucking rage when it was Anti-Mystery vs Anti-Fantasy and now theres fucking rage for ShKanon vs NonShkanon. He's probably just tired of people jumping on their high horse and parading their "truth".

Chess analogies until the end:
Real number of people (without Erika) is 16.
The King (Battler, the detective)
The Queen (the culprit)
The Knights, Rooks and Bishops (the accomplices/people trying to achieve something with this crime)
The Pawns (the eight genuine victims)

Now figure the positions of the pieces.

King = Shannon
Queen = Beatrice
Knight = Kanon
The analogies are obvious at the end of episode 6.
And you just have to look at their powers, Shannon has a multi-lateral shield, like a king who can move by 1 in every ways.
She is also the key to ShKanontrice.

Kanon is the knight, his power also make it obvious. And he keep saying that his duty is to look over Shannon aka the king.

Beatrice is the queen, she can move everywhere as she wishes and is the most powerful piece.

"Bern slowly lifted up a black piece. That was the piece that represent Beato. A piece that is sometimes a king... Sometimes a queen, a knight... But that is only when it is promoted. Right now it is but a pawn... A garbage piece. So the placement of the pieces... From then on, the witches' game begins. And so Bernkastel slowly raised up
Beato's piece."

Get over yourself

>> No.5923796

>For example, I looked up absinthe shortly after the release of EP1, and read on with the thought that ‘wormwood’ in the language of flowers means ‘to be absent’ and might be hinting at Kinzo’s death. Then later on, his death was proclaimed with the red text in EP4. I get the feeling that many more foreshadowings like this are hidden throughout the game.
If all the fundamental hints are like this, I give up.

>> No.5923840

>>5923796
That's a pretty stupid foreshadowing. In episode 1 Eva accuses Natsuhi of hiding Kinzo's death and waiting until he is legally dead because he's missing, but she says it in the context of accusing Natsuhi of having just killed Kinzo. But this is exactly what Natsuhi and Krauss are planning to do.
Also in episode 1 Kyrie decides that there absolutely can't be a 19th person. Not until episode 3 is this confirmed.

Episode 2:
"Will there be any problems with Father?"
"No....Genji and Doctor Nanjo are on our side, .... I'll never allow those greedy siblings to meet Father."

Krauss says that, but there's no evidence of Genji/Nanjo actually helping Krauss avoid bringing Kinzo out, and Krauss actually is shown trying to get Kinzo out.

The contradiction could have lead your reasoning to it.
