I can beat Orin on normal, after some practice. But Utsuho is a whole different matter.
Btw, Danmaku is won with willpower. You just have play a lot the same stages to get good at them. SA has infinite continues and you can unlock a stage practice's mode just beating it once, so replaying should be easy.
I still bomb a lot of Orin's cards, those fucking zombie faeries sure are something...

You should think the games themselves as girls. Start with PCB, since PCB is the "doting, devoted childhood friend" archetype, it keeps handing you bombs, lives and borders to keep you alive and is one of the easiest games. IN is also a good choice, think it as the sort of girl who tries very hard but isn't liked much. MoF is all about bombing a lot, basically if your hand is on X more than shift you're doing it right. MoF is also something of a wallflower, it is nice, clean and serene but there's not much else to it other than impulsive bombing every 5 seconds. Easiest Extra, though.

Once you're cleared those three routes, you can move on to EoSD and SA. EoSD is the knightly onee-sama type, it'll make you work hard and dodge on the fly, but clearing it is totally worth the effort. SA is pretty much tsundere, it looks impossibly hard at first but gets much easier once you get used to it. Watch out for the Orin fight, try a few replays to assist you. UFO is a nightmare with plenty of UFO chasing shenanigns, I see it as a dominatrix type loli.

With this, you can gain the motivation to keep going, and while playing you can indulge in fantasies like laying your head on PCB-tan's lap while she clears your ears or UFO-tan rubbing your dick with her stocking-clad feet while remarking what a worthless excuse of a man you are since you can't even clear her yet.

Well, every game has that one spellcard that just isn't fair (Scarlet Meister, Hell Realm Sword, Apollo 13, Sanae's penultimate (since Virtue is fair hard, not bullshit hard) etc. ), and Youmu gets it for PCB. Other than that she isn't really hard, misdirect her noncards.

Practice, dude. Practice. Don't expect to go into a fist fight for the first time in your life against an experienced opponent and kick his ass so hard he'll post on /jp/ about it.

I've heard that a good practice method is trying a difficulty above what you're used to - in your cause, Normal - so you can get used to how things go and sharpen your reflexes a bit. Then, after you go back a difficulty, you'll see how easy it feels.

It's called "practicing". When Orin raped me, I just played that stage with the 2 lives the continue gives you until I beated it. It's stupid to play the 4 previous stages everytime you want to practice. The 1cc run will come AFTER you can beat the stages individually.

If you're having trouble with the fairies, go to the top of the screen, dodge Orin's shots until they're up there with you, then go to the bottom of the screen and take Orin out from there. The second undead fairy spellcard is a little bit harder, but same tactic; draw the fairies to the top of the screen, then go to the bottom and shoot Orin.
