It's techno with heavy bass and smacking synth drum beats. The vocals are interesting, but the circle seems to enjoy doing what far too many other circles do and have 2 minutes of repetitious, mind-numbing beat with no melody ("the intro") before you get to anything remotely resembling a song, much less the specific Touhou song they're supposed to be covering.

Listening to the first track. I dig it. An actual electro arrangement. Trance and progressive house have been really wearing on me lately.

I don't know how I feel about the vocals.

No, I will judge touhou songs the very same way I judge every other. There are some great touhou arrangements, and with lovely lyrics, too. They worked hard and their result is impressive. This album is just trash.

Yeah, the vox are pretty tuneless. She's basically whining around the beat and can't find her way about a melody - even though ZUN provided her with perfectly good ones. I personally like electro and minimal techno so the music is OK. I don't know. I'm not deleting it. I just got kinda bored after a couple tracks.

Yeah, I was really dissapointed listening to the first three tracks but then the vocals stopped and it was awesome for the rest of the album. Probably my favourite Shibayan Records album, one of my favourite touhou albums as well as there aren't many good House arrangements of touhou music.
