Well, listening to it again, that's true.
Mind you, I really like breathy singers, but they only work on certain songs. I'm really only bashing her because I don't like her character that much.
The reason I'm not flipping out about her new voice actress is because she sounds like she'd be a little more well-rounded than the old Yukiho. There were just songs where you could tell she was straining to sing them well, especially some of the more upbeat songs.
So, let's hope for the best, and don't feel down. I think she'll have a few songs she's really good at too, like the old Yukiho, even if it's not quite the same.

I agree. Only that song did she really hit things home, although on average she's a better singer than 70% of the rest of the cast, with only Chihaya, Azusa and Ritsuko better, and they have some criticism as well.

Why the hell was she replaced, anyway? Didn't want to do the job anymore, or what? It fucking sucks either way because I wanted to hear how the CVs improved in the 5 years since the original game. Without editing, most of the other Idols were SHIT, it would have been badass if they got better as their characters matured within the storyline.

I expected as much. It's sad they couldn't bring her back, but I think an imitation was the wrong way to go. A new girl with a more mature voice would have been a better fit than hiring a new actress, especially if Yukiho will be gone by IM@S 3.

I like Azusa's new style, but I feel Ritsuko's look have improved the most. Pigtails do nothing for me.

Out of all the newly styled idols, I feel Ritsuko has improved the most. Pigtails aren't my cup of tea, so it's very good to see a more sexier and professional look for her.
