Well clearly the kids fags knew who you were some time ago and whenever you hear a nickname or namefag thrown around you know there is going to be some degree of social networking faggotry. I mean people don't learn to type like that without going through the faggot gauntlet for a while.

I guess it was only a matter of time before I discovered your twitter account and
>I did sound like a gigantic faggot...

Yes, personally I find it disappointing that your alternative self is a twitter tweeting blogger blogging faggot but I guess it can't be helped but you immediately drop into the extreme faggot level. Carlos is probably doing the same shit too. You are who you are

Yeah, sadly my connections to that community go wayyy back...as I said earlier old habits die hard. I came here to get away from all that, actually, but there's still a few folks I like to stay in touch with and I was already on twitter so that's the easiest way. Sadly I have to deal with the entire crowd of them as a result...

>it was only a matter of time before I discovered your twitter account
Yeah, I did what I could to keep my presence here and elsewhere separate but I figured there would eventually be a breaking point. So be it...

>twitter tweeting blogger blogging faggot
lol, well like I said earlier...I just use twitter to stay in touch with people and I don't blog anymore. I'll write about Japan Expo because I was asked, but after that my blog will return to just being a way for me to keep track of my collection.

Also, slow at work today...may try and get my reports written/posted between customers.

Hey, if they are your friends then they are, no one is telling you to burn bridges because of this place. You clearly are far too entrenched in those places to claim some sort of /jp/ level position. And I'm not even sure that would be a benefit to most people.

I mean you've got some cool connections that can help you get around Europe to see Musume that's a pretty good payoff in itself.

>my blog will return to just being a way for me to keep track of my collection.

I guess so huh? Anyways, when you post your stuff could you post some about the concert itself, I've seen endless stories about the expo and getting autographs, etc. but everyone forgot to review the concert itself.

I really enjoyed the energy from those in the crowd videos and the girls were definitely pumped up, front row must of been so sweet.

Well, I've actually already posted the first two days...but that was a couple threads back in the midst of piles of spam, so here they are again just to be safe...
And if anybody wants my reports from the airport arrival and FNAC session I can dig those up too.

After the FNAC session there was a lottery sign session at the con center, my friends and I rushed to get tickets but only one of us (out of 5 guys) got in. Opted to go get some food and rest at that point (which turned out to be a bad choice, since obviously the sign sessions were open and MM did a big pic with the fans after that session...not like we could have known at the time, but damn ;____;).

Tried for Friday's lottery sign session as well, but no luck again...still attended anyway though, caught Aichan's attention at least 3 or 4 times. A friend of mine got a pic of Aichan waving directly at me, actually. Looks like her just waving at the camera, but he had his camera sitting on my shoulder at the time w...I can post it later, once he sends it to me, if people want.
Also ended up getting interviewed by Nakazawa Yuko during this session, which was a very pleasant surprise to say the least. There's a pic of me and her floating around w

My write-up on the concert is pretty short, give me a heads up if you want more and I'll do what I can...

Lining up for the concert, everyone in line could clearly hear the sound check and rehearsal, which was really cool...people in the pack ticket line found a small spot in one of the windows where you could see the stage, caught a quick glimpse of the girls but security closed the curtain before much of anything happened. There was also a security guy (in suit and tie, no less w) who kept opening a door into the venue near the other line, everybody would scream and cheer and then he'd close the door and give everybody a big thumbs up. Pretty funny, I thought. Lots of cameras and whatnot getting footage of the crowd as well.
The concert itself was fucking incredible, managed to get a front row seat payout for the pack ticket was so worth it ;___; and it blew AX's concert out of the water. Highlights included singing happy birthday to Sayu (Japanese wota and our Mexican friend promoted the crap out of a special "birthday plan" to sing to her right after her introduction in the opening MC - went without a hitch, she seemed so happy~) and Yuko getting teary-eyed as the entire audience sang along to the earlier MM songs she chose during her bit. Not to say this is a new thing, but you can really feel the love the fans have for the girls with things like that, really moving stuff...
Setlist was basically PikaPika with a few tweaks, which made me happy as I listened to the PikaPika concert recordings a lot and had become familiar with the setlist. The crowd, at least up near the front, was pretty wild...surprisingly lots of people had a decent grasp on the chants, etc from what I could tell, which really made for a good concert experience. So exhausted by the time it was done...

Lined up about 2AM Saturday morning for the first come first serve session (had to break into a train station to get to the con center at that time of night ww) to find about 50 people already lined up, but turned out the exhibitor's premium ticket holders got almost all the tickets beforehand and there were only 10 or 15 left...nobody I knew got one. Attended the session anyway, of course.

Same as Friday's, waved at Aichan and yelled her name over and over lol, her attention was actually surprisingly easy to get throughout the course of the convention. Also got lucky, had a Japanese Aika wota, friend I met through a friend, point me out to Aichan and she blew me a kiss. I could have died ;______;
After the session, my friends and I ate and went back to the hotel to rest for a bit.

Details are tough to recall, but I'll see what I can remember...

The chick to Yuko's left was the one who asked me to do the interview. She came up as I was watching the Friday sign session and actually started speaking to me in French...I told her, in Japanese, that I was an American. Can't remember if it was her or the other people who interviewed me, but they said they were looking for French people and seemed a bit disappointed, but when they asked if I spoke Japanese and I said yes they perked up and went ahead anyway haha

I'm not going to bother typing out everything in Japanese, surely you'll get the gist...
When I got to Yuko I was a bit surprised to say the least, gave a quick "ah, konnichiwa!" and she responded with the same, and we had the typical exchange of "yoroshiku onegaishimasu". The lady told Yuko that I was from America, but not to ask that, instead to ask where I was from. The camera started rolling and Yuko asked "Are you from France?", to which I said no, I'm an American. I believe Yuko asked if I came specifically to see Morning Musume (yes), who my favorite member was (with a bit of a laugh w, Aichan obviously), then Yuko had me turn around to show the back of my outfit and made some impressed remarks ("sugoi", etc), my favorite MM song (I just said Mikan, for some reason...not even kidding, I don't have a favorite, I can't even say that's a top tier song for me, but that's the one I was most looking forward to hearing at the concert and I had to say something...she kind of laughed at my choice there, honestly wish I had said something else but the nervousness got to me). She asked what I thought the charm of MM was ("miryoku"), I said I thought the member's dedication and hard work was great/amazing ("menbaa no kenshin to ganbari ga subarashii to omoimasu") and she kind of stepped back and said "kenshin to-!...ah, arigatou gozaimasu" with kind of a shocked/humbled look and bowed. Guess she didn't expect that kind of thing from a gaijin w

I don't remember much of the interview beyond that, that may have been all the questions she asked. At the end she thanked me and I thanked her, thanked the staff and then I walked back to the session.

Nice, the Mikan thing was kind of odd to say but the hardworking statement was really good. I'm kind of surprised you didn't heap some praise on Yuko at all.

>how well can you speak Japanese
I've been studying for a little over 2 years, conversational Japanese I'm not bad. I've listened to episodes of MM member radio shows and understood most everything before if that's a good gauge, but it just kind of depends on the subject...

We lined up again on Sunday at 5AM to get in as early as possible so we could have more time to line up and re-line up for the final drawing. Another mad rush to the booth, was able to get through the line twice before the conference but no luck either time.

Ended up about halfway back for the conference, it was okay...more just a talk show/interview format than the traditional Q&A panel they had at AX. I suppose that's expected though, cause there were TONS of people there and there's no way they could have just had people walk up to a mic or whatever.

Nothing terribly exciting in the questions, although there was one Aichan answered where, as the interpreter struggled to translate her answer (which, by the way, seemed to happen with every answer...lots of "uhhhhhhh" and awkward pauses, for some reason...you'd think they could find somebody who knows what they're doing for an event this big), the camera switched to Aichan...and she was making this adorable concerned face and watching the translator w, obviously worrying because the translator was struggling so much. Once she noticed the camera she kind of jumped and covered her face lol, obviously totally unaware...everybody cheered and had a good laugh about that. Too cute ;______;

Pic is the one of Aichan waving at me, was actually taken with the camera resting on my shoulder w inb4 somebody calls bullshit on it -___-

Anyway, after the conference we rushed back to line up for the lottery drawing again, but not even a minute after lining up the tickets ran out. We had a friend who went through the line for us while we were at the conference and got us one ticket, at least...which ended up going to the JunJun wota in our group. To say I was upset would be an understatement, I'd thought for sure I would get into at least one more session after the FNAC one so I didn't say the REALLY important things. Attempted offering people money for tickets, etc, no luck of course...so I figured I was screwed.

Then the Japanese Aika wota I mentioned earlier started talking to me, told me she had gotten a ticket and I congratulated her. I mentioned there were some important things I wanted to say...and she offered to hand Aichan a note for me and point me out like at the previous session. She said it would be difficult to pull off since she's a Japanese fan (staff aren't as forgiving with them as with gaijin fans, she said), but she'd try. Her and a friend helped me write it and everything, so unbelievably nice of her...

>> No.5628172

>>5628163 cont'd
Then, right as she was entering the line, she told me that, after all, it's just too hard for a Japanese fan...but if I wanted to, she would point me out and I could just yell it at Aichan lol
So I went for it...not sure if Aichan heard me or not, it seemed unlikely. What I said was a bit long so maybe just the beginning, plus there was a LOT of background noise. Although the Aika wota told me that Aichan said she heard me, so I guess she did.
Then, later on in the session, when I caught Aichan's attention again, I yelled at her "I'll always support you!" ("zutto ouen shite imasu!"), but she didn't hear me perfectly, cupped her hand to her ear and leaned in so I yelled it again. Then she cupped her hands to her mouth and yelled back "arigatou!" and we waved ;___________________;

And with that the session ended, the members lined up, did their final farewell to the fans (just like concert end, join hands and raise a couple times, everybody yelling together) and off they went.

After the final sign session everybody gathered up to chat about things, etc...and then someone came up and told us MM just walked out of the convention center and got into airport buses. They were leaving.
So we rushed to the airport (a friend of mine and I got there quite a bit before everyone else, found the JAL departures and etc etc...), met up with our friends and the Japanese wota and waited for the girls.

I think there were about 25-30 people there when MM showed up, pretty mellow stuff...lots of waving and saying goodbye, then a long semi-awkward wait as they slowly worked their way through the line. Every now and then one of the members would turn and wave at us and we'd all wave back. Aichan was the last to go through, and she kind of leaned out of the line to wave one last time, hopped back in...then she hopped back out and waved (I'm pretty sure) right at me, or at least in my direction, and I waved back. As she hopped back in line again I yelled "ki wo tsukete kaette ne!" ("have a safe trip", basically) and I heard a faint "haiiiiiiii!" from up where she was at, then they were officially gone ;_____;

From there we made our way back to the hotel and thus ended the MM events. I actually spent another day in Paris and one more day in London after that, but I'll spare you all the details of that w

The crowd, at least up near the front, was pretty wild...surprisingly lots of people had a decent grasp on the chants, etc from what I could tell, which really made for a good concert experience. So exhausted by the time it was done...

After the final sign session everybody gathered up to chat about things, etc...and then someone came up and told us MM just walked out of the convention center and got into airport buses. They were leaving.

>people don't learn to type like that without going through the faggot gauntlet
as I said earlier old habits die hard. I came here to get away from all that, actually, but screw that

>it was only a matter of time before I discovered your twitter account
Yeah, I did what I could to keep my presence here and elsewhere separate but I figured there would eventually be a breaking point. So be it...

>twitter tweeting blogger blogging faggot
lol, well like I said earlier...I just use twitter to stay in touch with people and I don't blog anymore. I'll write about Japan Expo because I was asked, but after that my blog will return to just being a way for me to keep track of my collection.

Also, slow at work today...may try and get my reports written/posted between customers.

Same as Friday's, waved at Aichan and yelled her name over and over lol, her attention was actually surprisingly easy to get throughout the course of the convention. Also got lucky, had a Japanese Aika wota, friend I met through a friend, point me out to Aichan and she blew me a kiss. I could have died ;______;
After the session, my friends and I ate and went back to the hotel to rest for a bit.

Thanks for the run down there Ai-chan fan, it sounds like you really were able to catch Ai-chan's attention several times and interact with her a lot which was probably pretty thrilling.

Who was the Japanese Aika wota you kept referring to?

>since obviously the sign sessions were open and MM did a big pic with the fans after that session...not like we could have known at the time, but damn ;____;)

Oh man you left before that huh...ouch, I was wondering why you guys were in those photos

I'm not sure if I can tell you honestly, being Japanese I'm not sure if she'd be okay with me saying any more than that. Sorry...

I guess so huh? Anyways, when you post your stuff could you post some about the concert itself, I've seen endless stories about the expo and getting autographs, etc. but everyone forgot to review the concert itself.

Lots of cameras and whatnot getting footage of the crowd as well.
The concert itself was fucking incredible, managed to get a front row seat payout for the pack ticket was so worth it ;___; and it blew AX's concert out of the water. Attempted offering blowjobs for tickets (lol), etc, no luck of course...so I figured I was screwed.
