In VI, it was revealed that Sill, Shizuka, and Kanami are all girls "fated for Rance".
In this new update, it's revealed Rance may have around 10 girls fated for him, tied to all of his fingers.

(It comes from an asian myth where a couple fated for each other have a red string tied to each other. Japanese version is to each other's pinkies. Rance is greedy, so he has girls tied to all of his fingers.)

Kou dying wasn't actually necessary for the central events of Isoroku route from a theoretical standpoint; Nobunaga's will assumed Kou was still alive anyway, so the whole thing with Rance needing to produce an heir would have happened anyway. So True History and Isoroku routes can both be canon for the most part.

Isoroku route requires the death of the Oda bloodline. That is not a small thing.

The epilogue itself is canon, but the Isoroku route cannot happen because it is not True History.

Rangi is indeed confirmed born as the Rance Chronicles++ shows, but the circumstances that lead to it are completely different.

In Isoroku route, Rance had Sill take the contraception magic off voluntarily.

In True History, this is not possible since Sill got frozen and Rance never gave such an order. This makes the only way Isoroku ever get pregnant by accident. Either by:
-Full accident, Sill's magic is not absolute and can mess up. It also needs to be cast again after some time.
-Punishment, since Rance pretends to be a god in the shrine in order to make Isoroku suck his dick and a god decided to punish him again for doing something fucked up.

I know many people liked Isoroku's end, but seriously, no. Stop dreaming.

It was something along the lines of he wanted to let her live free of the responsibility of ruling, so he wanted Rance to make an heir and Kou could live a normal life. Thus Kou dying or not made no difference to Rance needing to produce an heir, what actually made the difference between the routes was that 3G found the will in Isoroku route while he didn't in True History (or it wasn't written in True History, which would require a stupid retroactive change upon entering a route; logically it should have already been determined whether it was written or not before the routes even branched)

That's not the point. Isoroku route REQUIRES the death of the Oda bloodline in the route itself.

That makes it impossible to happen in True History, because the very end of that route is the result of a completely divergent series of events compared to canon.

Like already said, Isoroku getting pregnant is most likely an accident or another case of divine punishment. Isoroku route does not need to happen for her to even get pregnant.

Regardless, Isoroku route didn't happen in the canon story line. Nor did Kenshin or Ran.
Just small bits of main events in each of those route made it into canon story line in epilogue, but not the entire thing.

I think it'll be fun for a while, but it's going to turn quickly turn miserable as Rance begins to miss Sill.
