That's what I've always felt. Enjoying the suffering of animals is a good indicator that someone's going to end up being a pretty terrible person. It may not be the real thing, but it's an approximation, and it really doesn't seem that healthy...

That said, the vast majority of stories that have the worst things being done to yukkuris start with them behaving in the most amazingly obnoxious ways possible, so in those cases it's sort of hard not to want to see them all smeared on the ground.

I just realized this, I played mallet percussion for several years, a koyukkuri is about the size of a mallet head, what if, you popped the real mallet head off the stick, popped a koyukkuri on the stick and subsequently slammed the koyukkuri into the bar of the xylophone, marimba, vibraphone, etc. thus making music. While I have mixed feelings about Yukkuri abuse I would kind of like to see someone make a little comic about that.
