I have 5 good friends because of this. The old forum is dead (2 years have passed) but still, I talk with those people almost every day.

Over the past few years, I've lost 20kg of weight, learned to read Japanese fluently and taught myself mathematics (didn't learn much of that in school) as well as computer programming. Both visiting image boards and cutting off my IRL social contacts has greatly helped me with this, as well as with becoming more happy in general.
