I found a papercraft maker's blog! let's all make papercraft!

http://cafetera.blog114.fc2.com/category3-1.html

there are 4 page of them, do you know other sites?

>> No.5297495

this belongs to the papercraft board.

>> No.5297522

if it's otaku culture related it's /jp/ board too, like touhou cosplay or others

>> No.5297526

I have a folder full of papercraft files.

I still haven't built anything.

Actually, I lied, I did build some katamari damacy doll and I was in the middle of making Suigintou, but the it became ruined. Ever since, I've been too traumatized to try papercraft again.

Touhou cosplay gets a LOT of shit for being posted in /jp/.

I've 5.4GB of the stuff. 600MB is of Touhou. I've only actually put together around 5 or something, because I am a lazy asshole.

Can we talk about crafts in general, and making your own trash? I think it would be nice to just throw around ideas for people to make, and giving general directions and shit, instead of focusing solely on papercraft.

When I finish Marisa, I want to work on this Suwako. But it's being a pain in the ass because my printer is being angry toward me.

All over the internet. I can't even remember most of the sites. The Reisen and Suwako were from some Korean site or something, though.

I never managed to build one of these.

It's not really too hard to just put them together.

It requires very little thinking. You'll have to just make sure that you don't attach the stuff in a position that will make gluing them together difficult or impossible. Also, some creativity is very useful, so you can find ways to make up for your own shortcomings. Like making your own tools, figuring out workarounds for issues, or deciding to use colored paper or matching markers to edges and such.

Otherwise, it's just about patience and making sure you don't flip your shit when you mess up. I have VERY shaky hands too, probably because I don't eat as much as I should.

Would you mind uploading that Suwako papercraft? I searched for it quite some time and would be very grateful if you could upload it.

Thanks, OP.

I've given up after abandoning too many projects that ended up looking horrible.

Should I just abandon this shit and do more cafetera? His Luna model is the only one with a notable amount of detail that I've been able to do.

It should look a little better if I figured out how to attach the hair, but when you look closely, there are way too many lines.

My papercrafts got smashed when I was moving to a different apartment.

I made N64 Link, some half naked catgirl, and Maya from Phoenix Wright. Maya is the only one who survived.

Anon, why did you print out the template with the guides? You should only use that for reference to know where you're supposed to bend.

Wasn't there another template without the guide lines? That's the one you should have printed out.

Haven't been keeping up with papercrafts for 2 years. I think I quit making them around the time when /jp/ was made.

I'm guessing there are a lot of new awesome ones.

I uploaded the Marisa one there a while ago:
http://papercraft.wikidot.com/papercraft:marisa

And I really like Lunatica's work too. He/they make easy yet good looking ppc. I've already done Youmu (see attached picture: only 2 pages (recto/verso)), and have Yuyuko, Flandre, Remilia, Flandre, Sakuya, Marisa, Reimu. I also have Romi (same artist as pictured Marisa)'s Suwako in stock.

They weight quite a lot, but I can upload some of them if someone wants me to.

Here is Romi's Suwako. You may need to rename it with a non-korean filename to be able to open it (.pdo).

Also, Lunatica's Scarlet Sisters:

There are recto and verso pages. Very nice because it helps seeing where things go (.pdf).

I'll be uploading more Lunatica models.

The thing with the Moekami models is that in the pictures, he doesn't score except for a few places. It also seems like he uses fairly thin paper and markers to make a more seamless look.
