Do guys say desu or da? And what do "zo" and "za" mean?

In return, penis.

>> No.522047

both. various things.

>> No.522052

Guys only say "da".
Except for gays, those also use "watashi" instead of "ore". "zo" makes you more manly and "za" doesn't exist.

Oh right, if we're talking about particles maybe you meant "ze"? It's kind of like "zo", except even more manly.

>> No.522071

"zo" is never used in public.
"da" is used by males when speaking non-formal.
"desu" is universal for formal.
"za" = engrish "the"

Wrong.
Only girls and fags use "desu". Guys only use "da" and "ze/zo" is really common.
Trust me, I watched plenty of anime. I know what I'm talking about.

Saying watashi or desu makes you sound like a drag-queen.

desu = the polite form form of "is/to be"
da = the short form of desu. It is usually omitted unless you're making an assertive statement. Men use "da" more then women because women don't want to sound assertive
zo = an end of sentence particle that makes you sound more forceful and boastful. Usually, only men use it, and it's only in casual conversation.
za = ? Maybe you're thinking of "ze" which is even more assertive than "zo"

>> No.522305

Guys don't say zo?

Not even in "じゃねえぞ!”
