Anyway, You have 6 seconds, what are your wait(s) after discarding the 2 man, how much han is your hand worth, considering the amount of points your 1 opponent has and that this is east only on the final round, would riiching be needed to overtake him, not considering a deal in or tsumo.

hand is worth 10 no riichi, sanbaiman with riichi. Winning with a tsumo would be a sanbaiman and would give the win, ronning off the other two would not be a win. But with a riichi ronning off anyone would be a win.
It is a single wait on the 3, which is bad. It would be good to wait for something better. If you drew a 9 and then tsumod a 5 or 8 (or riichi and ronned anyone) it would be a yakuman which would make you feel happy about yourself.
Unless you DREW the last 5 or 8 (in which case if you cut a 2 you would get an ideal 5 or 6 way wait) the single 3 pin wait is fine and it is personal preference if you want to riichi or not. You might get lucky and have someone deal the 3. Or you might fuck yourself over. If you wait and ron it off the not leader, 2nd place is fine too.

Even if he had ronned someone with either the hand he had (for the 7 man) it's still a yakuman. Riichi, sanankou, honitsu, toitoi, haku, chun, shousangen, dora 3 is 15 han. Ron with the hatsu is still daisangen.

Switching the 7 man to sha would guarantee a tsuuiisou and potentially a double yakuman with daisangen even on ron though, so yes that technically would have been better. I had a 11+ han chinitsu comeback hand finally pulling together only 7 discards into the last round and a faggot wins with a chun only 0 dora hand to secure himself in 2nd. Yes this shit sucks and it's the main reason I stopped playing 4p, at least it's a lot less common in 3p.

Problem is I didn't have pinfu (waited on the pair instead of 6-9), and I only had 1 dora, not 3, so it was a baiman instead of a kazoe-yakuman. Everything else was the exact same, right down to the riichi ippatsu tsumo.

Basically, I don't typically go for open tanyao unless the dora calls for it or something or I'm desperate for a yaku.

heaven mode: a hand starting only 0/1/2 shan ten, or has a dora triple, double ton triple, or like 9-10 tiles in the same suit, etc, usually getting ippatsu tsumos or 3+ uradora, and winning well over 50% of the hands in a game

hell mode: hands starting at utter trash, rarely even being able to get tenpai before someone else wins, being 1 shan ten and needing to discard someone's winning tile to get into tenpai, riichiing and immediately dealing into someone else, etc

hell mode activates more often on 3 dan and higher on both 3p and 4p. you will get shit hands all the time and tenhou will make you draw the "winning" tile of a player in tenpai. Typically you lose more than you win, thus crippling your stats and rating overall. If you pay for premium, you are unaffected by this until 4 dan rank (ever wonder how some players get 2000 rating early?) unless the account in question is labeled as a "dead" account. Heaven mode: getting a good hand almost every game and winning a lot of games.
