Yukari's power might go a lot deeper than simple location to location. It seems that any kind of border or boundry could fall into her power. While the obvious is location to location isn't there a distinct difference between, let' say you and me. That right ther could be interpreted as a border. Imagine if that line was blurred, the boundry erased. What would separate you from being me? Would there even be a difference anymore?

What about the distinction between the living and the dead? There is a definite boundry there would it be hard to (Without disemboweling/beheading via teleportation) to change the definition of that boundry?

In Imperishable Night, she stops time but is conflicted by Kaguya's forwarding of time.

In IaMP she screws around with the gaps of day and night causing the stage in the image I posted.

She makes communication devices in SA (probably using cell phones and her powers).

Overall her powers are limitless and probably limited to her imagination, but since she's a genius and a responsible being, she doesn't abuse it in any way that would endanger others. She also acts more of a back-seat authority type, so she's never really trying all that hard unless its a serious crisis.

My personal theory is that her powers use a lot of energy, which she ends up sleeping off. Which is also why she sleeps and hibernates so much. Also probably why she doesn't do anything too large scale like jumping in time.

The "messing around" part does. She really doesn't do much except when she's bored, and even then it's just to mess around. She lives for fun and entertainment, but that takes many forms. She invaded the moon, but nobody knows why. As far as the sleeping thing, she really is just lazy. I'm sure most people here would love to sleep for weeks at a time if there were no negative repercussions.

Even though Yukari's power is...well, broken, she herself has never taken real time to master its full capabilities. I would bet traveling between Gensokyo and the real world is still a problem for her.

PMiSS has a section on the Dragon. It is the god of Gensokyo for the humans, but nobody really knows what actually happened. Back when Gensokyo was still part of the real world, the Dragon was present and threatened to destroy Gensokyo for whatever reason. It almost did until the most ancient youkai promised it an eternal state of peace. The border was probably created as a measure to that end.

The only people that can be assumed to have been present during the Dragon's almost-attack are Yukari, one of the Hakureis, and Tewi. Yukari might even BE a Hakurei, but just changed her name when she became a Youkai.
