IOSYS made it pretty clear in two videos that they think it has to do with her love sickness.

In the extra stages of Mystic Square, Alice defeated (and likely killed) PC-98 Reimu and Marisa, and sealed Mima inside the Grimoire of Alice. However, Alice failed to capture or kill Yuka. Yuka then ripped the pages Mima was sealed in claiming it was the "ultimate magic".
After Mystic Square, Alice was threatened to be imprisoned inside Hokkai (Makai's prison for demons). But she escaped and became a fugitive from Makai.
When she escaped she ended up in Gensokyo. She eventually settled in the Magic Forest because it would be hard for Makai demons to find her in there.
For a while she hid herself in a house in the forest, never leaving for fearing she would be found. Eventually she got bored and wanted to leave the house for at least a few hours a day, so she made a large puppet using notes from her grimoire and charmed it so that she could use it as a medium. When she uses it she seals herself in a room with magic barriers and alarms in case someone tried to attack her directly. Alice Margatroid we see is really a puppet used by "young" Alice.

Too many responses to quote, so I'll just answer everything.

I've played everything past EoSD but don't currenly have STB or DS because I don't like them and decided not to download them when I got another computer.

I've played Normal on every game. Can't 1CC shit.

The ONLY game that gives you the Extra stage from Easy is IN. And you have to beat that twice anyway, fighting both final bosses.

The ONLY game that restricts you on Easy as far as stages is EoSD. Stage 6 is only available on Normal or higher. PCB gives you automatic bad ends for Easy. I'm not too sure about MoF or UFO, but I would think that you get good ends for 1cc'ing those on any difficulty, but you just don't get the Extra unlock.

We all know the truth about /jp/'s definition on secondary. Secondary is someone that learned touhou in any diferent way than you. If you 1cc'ed the games on hard everyone who just did it in normal is asecondary and so on. Also anyone who is better/know more than you is a no life loser.
