'In that direction,' the Cat said, waving its right paw round, 'lives Anonymous: and in that direction,' waving the other paw, 'lives tripfag. Visit either you like: they're both weeaboos.'
'But I don't want to go among weeaboos,' Alice remarked.
'Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: 'we're all weeaboos here. I'm a weeaboo. You're a weeaboo.'
'How do you know I'm a weeaboo?' said Alice.
'You must be,' said the Cat, 'or you wouldn't have come here'.

I just got a letter today from the fed saying I have to start spending the money they send me for being like this each month or else they will stop paying me. It's weird being told 'spend the money or we wont give you more' rather than the usual save it type of deal.

And then nowadays most online classes have you forced to participate in some sort of class forum on the website, and even more popular nowadays are live chatrooms for class meetings.

I'm pretty sure they really do when they are giving you free money. It's not 'they track me because they are big brother' its that they don't want to keep giving me free cash for nothing in return, and they actually DO keep an eye on it in the cases of unemployment/disability/welfare and so on.

Which is also why I "have too much" and have to use it more. At the very least I know for a fact they check your balance - which mine is way over the limit as I've been worried about spending (which is funny given the situation) which is why I got this letter to begin with.

Also it goes based on 'resources' so I can't go spending it on whatever to use it because a lot of that will count as 'resources' and still add up to too much. I can buy things for myself with it too, but in moderation so it sounds nicer than it really is, it's actually a little stressful as if I simply don't notice my account goes over again and it does I just won't get any more money.

At the moment I need to get rid of several thousand dollars, so I just threw most of it away on repaying my student loan. At least it's done with now instead of taking a few years...plus it's part of what they are paying me for, so they can't really complain.

I flirted with a quasi-hikki lifestyle my first year of college. Virtually never left my room except to get food or go to class or other necessary functions. Spent all my time studying or screwing around at the computer. Or both.

I might be introverted, but I discovered that I'm not nearly as introverted as I thought I was, and the relative isolation (among with a couple other factors) led to a year of crushing depression thereafter.

Despite all that happened though, it still remains somewhat appealing since I haven't had nearly as much solitude has I did during that period in time.
