You should really set up barrier first to make up for her horrible defense unless you know you're fighting an SP attacker. Seeing as nearly everything psy is weak against save for ghost is a physical move, barrier makes more sense.

Oh there's a also simple which will ignore all your buffing.

Dark type is immune to Psychic, that set up had Gardevoir with only psychi, so the only logical move would be to swap out Gardevoir, which would set off Pursuit.

I wouldn't use Umbreon though, not enough damage.
