I do like Clannad's soundtrack, and think it's wonderful in it's own right. You're correct, there is no disputing that. However, Umineko overshadows it. I don't have a playlist filled solely with Clannad music, and don't play select songs from Clannad's soundtrack on a daily/weekly basis. But, I do with Umineko.

I think I have to put Umineko's slightly above Clannad too. Clannad is good for listening to the emotional tracks once in a while and having a good baww, but Umineko's is always awesome to listen to and has so much variety, even melancholic songs like discolor which I can't listen to enough. Most VNs don't have particularly memorable soundtracks, if you remember something it's usually because a 2 minute loop played for a half hour at a time during the course of the game. Subarashiki Hibi has some awesome music so far, but I've just started reading it. The opening is also great, probably the greatest one this year.

I'm still a rabid Nitroplus fanboy, so I can't even choose their best OST. Gekkou, Saya and Muramasa are probably the highest tier for me.
