So Beato was a GM in 6, right? Can you describe a nature of gold? What can, and can't be said in it?

I take it you've never read DOOM Repercussions of Evil? The fanfic that everyone ad libs to make more crappy fanfics.

Beato was dead in EP6. Battler was the GM. Only the person who understands everything about the game and has become the game master can use the Gold.

Gold is different from Red in that it's immutable. You can interpret Red in several different ways, but using Gold means that what is said isn't up for interpretation.

What can be said in Gold is anything that is a fact about the game. The first time it was used was to identify that Kinzo was really dead. Dlanor was trying to muddle the truth by saying that there was no evidence that Battler could use to prove that Kinzo was really dead. So Battler said in gold "This is Kinzo's corpse!" Since you can't disprove Gold by any means, it's true because he says it's true. Red could have been interpreted as being "it's a different Kinzo" or "corpse means something else".

>> No.4785965

>>4785954
Duh. Yet Beato used gold.

>> No.4785975

>>4785946
Gold can only be stated by the one who know everything about what happened.
Simply because it's made of the "true" culprit memory and experience.
Basically it's the truth of the Beatrice of the real world, when Battler states in gold that Kinzo is truly dead, he can do this because the true Beatrice knows this.
When suit Beatrice states in gold that the "filling the cup with petals" trick is magic, it's because the true Beatrice really believes it's magic, this is the sort of magic she grew up with, see the flashback in episode 3 with Virgillia.

The red texts are more situational, they are basically used to make each game, each "fictions" logical and solvable.
The gold text refers to every games since it was formed by the "true" world.

Then how it's can be inferior to red in some cases?
Beato:
[gold]Using magic, you created a golden rose petal underneath the cup. It was a magnificent display of magic.[/gold]

it should be inferior in that it basically means 'no room for discussion', it can't be twisted so the user can't make a practical use of it to confuse

>> No.4786002

>>4785992
Yeah but you don't explain the trick being referred as "magic" with your definition.
You are just looking for the easiest explanation.

It's superior since your opponent can't argue against it.

It's inferior since you can't attempt to win using deception and confusion.

Nice interpretation, but it's not stated explicitly, if I'm not mistaken. Therefore, that's exactly what means "open to interpretation".

What magic trick? I was trying to explain the nature of gold truth.
