There is no clear definition of what gold text is, it is assumed to be the absolute truth but we can't be certain. Like, the entirety of Episodes 1 and 2 is about people discussing who dressed up as Beatrice. The clue doesn't have to be "oh such and such has a Beatrice dress and wig!"

It just means someone can't dress as someone else without foreshadowing, which this definitely has in spades.
