Ignoring the inconsistencies in zun art or any printworks it would make more sense that she's a woman with an unrealistically feminine figure. Something awe inspiriting as it is attractive. Like picrel or any Spacezin art. As for my slightly crazier headcanon, i think she's very muscular (her lifting kinkakuji) but still potently feminine. Consider prime Arnold Schwarzenegger's physique but feminine instead of masculine, so wider hips and bigger legs but her upper body still has muscle. What you said isn't true at all for Kaguya's tale, they're very specific about her appearance in all of her art. You also missed the part where i mentioned Touhou Project. She looks like the japs around her and her appearance in toehoe is congruent with the actual art we have of her (except it looks way better). Feel like i need to painfully explain this to you, but basically both Kagus are black haired, fair skinned and look like the people around them and both wear cute dresses.

She spent almost all those years either as pampered scion of the moon or doing nothing within the Eientei anti-entropy bubble under Eirin's watch, with only a few years of actually living freely, first in her exile, and then now in Gensokyo (only with Mokou coming in to fight with three centuries ago, but still that's only one human girl and not any experience of the real life). Kaguya is still young as far as life experience goes, even if she's technically older than majority of Gensokyo youkai.
And that is exactly what makes her approachable at all, really. You can hardly have any interpersonal relationships with someone like, say, Tewi, not even to mention Eirin. Their minds would be far too different and alien to us ordinary humans, their life experience too overwhelming, to have any hope of equality, of reciprocity with them. That said, Kaguya sure has a different perspective on the world, whey they call lunarians lacking common sense - though that's more perhaps like us modern internet dwellers would have no "common sense" from the medieval peasant's standpoint. Mostly made up. They're attractive because they're exceptional. Which means they have desirable traits that most don't. Like a defined jawline, high cheekbones, good eye area (which really just translates to not having "bug" eyes or any noticeble oddities like the eyes being too far or close apart etc) and general facial harmony.
