I don't think she looked old at all, she just hasn't really changed much since then. The typical idol/loli look never suited her, because she doesn't have those kinds of physical features. Which benefitted her in the long run, since she was able to age gracefully, rather than try to hold onto that youthful gimmick some female seiyuu have to play into.

I do however think it's interesting hearing that first voice she used in the video. I don't know that I have ever heard her use that specific tone before.
