After a brief run-through of the AT3 OST, I find myself liking EXEC_FLIP_ARPHAGE and EXEC_REBIRTHIA=PROTOCOL/. I also like EXEC_COSMOFLIPS, although apparently some people aren't big fans of that one.

KOKIA did awesome songs for AT3. Pretty much everyone seems to like EXEC_COSMOFLIPS. EXEC_COSMOFLIPS/. and EXEC_REBIRTHIA=PROTOCOL/. are probably my favourite tracks from the hymmnos albums. Although it does have a bit different tone from the last two games, I actually like AT3's OST more than the previous two's. (I think AT2's constant reuse of background music in-game did it in.)

I think the OST is pretty good, I like quite a few tracks on it but it depends how much they're recycled in the game since AT2 was pretty bad at that.

I would love for Gust to re-release the first two games in a sort of collector's edition, maybe for the PS3 and HD. Those who never got a chance to play them will be able to, and they'll know what they're getting into for AT3. Then NISA could localize it, hopefully with the bugs fixed.

Of course, I'm just wishful thinking. I don't think the series is popular enough for Gust to re-release the other games (is it?). I don't think it would be too difficult for them to do (depends on if the games are exactly the same aside from HD, or if they decide to add some new stuff into it), though.

You can find the AT3 hymmnos albums on TT, I believe. I'm not sure where to get normal rips of the albums since I pretty much only listen to lossless. Why? Unless they retconned how the tower works in AT3, no one should die, the RTs would lose their song magic and that's it. Also, each alpha is supposed to be the administrator of their respective towers so they wouldn't lose access.

And as I said, the alphas are the administrators of their respective towers (or at least supposed to be) so they wouldn't lose access to the tower. The one executing the command is disabling access for everyone else.

Yeah, I really don't know what they were thinking with her character. Sure, she's obnoxiously cute physically, but that all melts away once you realize she is a crazy bitch to the core. Shurelia/Mir are far, far more endearing than the other heroines in the first two games anyway, but it seems like they went out of their way to make Aurica and Luca unlikable, sometimes.

Aurica's problem is that she was fucking bipolar or something. She went back and forth between being a sarcastic tease with a short temper to a quivering moe blob with no self-esteem. It didn't make much sense. If you happened to like one of those personalities, the mood would constantly be ruined by the other one popping up. She had some pretty annoying emotional outbursts throughout the game, too, such as when she threw a fit over Lyner WALKING DOWNSTAIRS TO ASK FOR HELP and ran away from the party.

If we are leaving the obviously superior Mir and Cocona aside, I'll have to agree that Misha and Shurelia are far superior to Luca and Cloche. Croix was a significantly more tolerable male lead than Lyner, though. I felt that Misha's character seemed really forced at the start, but as you progress through the game you realize that "childhood friend" was closer to "childhood lover" and the problem was simply that Lyner's stupidity is off the charts, even for a harem lead. Maybe I should root for a canon Aurica ending, just so that Misha and Shurelia will be canonically free of that idiot.
