Maribel/Renko are who show up on the home screen while Mima/Shinki are the battlers, the humans basically use them as stands since they're outsiders without combat capabilities.

Since I play on an emulator I set all the skills locations on the screen to 1-9 and enter where the confirm is. Takes maybe a quarter of the time.

I usually have my units with the best card for their LW and leftover cards that didn't get unequipped from past DS stages, I also have other units like IN Reisen with, L1 Mayumi and Keiki, S2 Satori, S5 Okuu and A6 Sakuya with cards equipped to farm 3-18-3 and 3-6-3 card on rotation

And speaking of A6 Sakuya, depending on what she's needed you have the option to pick 3 different cards for her LW ranging from MSM to BO to eventually a debuff card, 2 cards that go well for her spell cards RTB and 2 more options for the remaining spell cards, but units such as L80 Marisa do fucking go well with 2 sticks, one Myorenji Anniversary and a generic Yang ATK up card, there are so many options to pick and you don't know how our helpers are getting used for. So, right now my F1 Sanae is equipped with Incident Shrine Maiden on her LW, 1x Shikigami Detectives, 1x Tajikarao, 1x Mansion of Memories and 1x Dragon Cave, the only card that might be removed is Tajikarao cause I maxed up only one copy and did not pull for more during F1 Sanae rerun as I was saving to fucking spark Mima and Shinki

Just replace the cards from those VS Battles with the next best ones, like the MV Reisen card for Mima, until you have those. I had the MV Alice card on Shinki's 2nd spell instead of her signature card. Also I did VS Mima first so I had one full power copy of that card for the VS Shinki battle. Blue Hecatia cards don't matter, all she did was help out on the final HP bar.
