You know what, I honestly respect you for making this post. Not because it's anything admirable. Fucking far from it and you're a disgusting ponyfucking freak! But the fact that is it's been a literal decade since you folks were sealed off, you had full knowledge of the kind of replies you'd get, and yet you still did it anyways. That kinda attitude'll get you far up the wagie ladder.

dont bother, it's a borefest. the sugarful design is nice and i guess you could write an interesting story on the basic lore. but the execution is awful kiddie crap. gaijin autistic stuff still have a long road before reaching 2hou or MGQ/E quality level.

I made it to the area where the border gets wiggly and experienced a few things. Wanted to go fully to the other side but my personal life called me back. Too many connections to stay, even if I wanted to cut them and fully commit (which I did want to). But in return, I've had a string of good luck after dealing with lots of youkai/paranormal events in the area, and even got a few charms from a few local shrines to ward off bad luck.

I'm going back one day, though. And I'll make it across fully, next time. Maybe I won't get attacked by too many things the next go round.

Oh, so thread was just a shitpost attempt. And here I was hoping for a little more substance from you all, maybe somebody that had actually been in the real world equivalent's location like I had and was half-serious about it all. What a shame.

>>45181806
I have no interest in killing myself. I've died before through no fault of my own and it wasn't very pleasant. As for exorcist?......probably the furthest fromm what I am-a hopeful, jaded idiot that went looking for the real deal after being captivated by what Touhou represents, so I went looking for Kami, Youkai, and the real world locations that might have something tucked away from the modern world. Not sure if it was GensokyoTM, but it was certainly "Gensokyo". I've shown a couple of images from a sighting I retroactively had while there in a few other threads, but most call it bs. I'm not saying it was or wasn't, but something was living there and making its presence known to a naive gaijin that went looking for it all.

Okay, you aren't suicidal and don't have that one strain of supernatural chuunibyou, but I thought people died when they were killed.

Are you next going to reveal to me that your name is Mokou, you drank the Hourai Elixer 1400 years ago, and that the moonies are plotting to usurp the world order?

>> No.45184792

>>45184722
Nope. Just a guy that has had supernatural things happen in the past, so I went looking and had more in the area of Japan that Gensokyo is supposed to be. I went looking in that area because I enjoy what Zun brought to life and have an interest in the real deals. The only proof I have is "trust me, bro" unless it happens to you personally, and pictures can be faked. But the one I attached has that thing in the middle and I can say that from my experiences over there, I had run ins with a Bakeneko, some kind of ghost, and then received blessings from some of the Kami when I prayed at the shrines. Couldn't make it to the Moriya shrine but I got a small ceramic frog for Suwako, and promised the local Kami that I would attempt to return to show actual respect. The picture is from the surrounding area where our version of the Misty lake is, though.

Not as many as you'd "like" to believe. Most just end up integrating into pretty meager existences, not really all that different from the average joe schmoe. Maybe they havent had as much segs and cuddles as your average guy but they likely still "live lives of quiet desperation" or lives of "vague anxieties that are never really resolved."

Only, instead of fugly wifies cheating on them or a growing dependence on alcoholism and nicotine common with typical menial factory workers, anons probably dealing with an aging bloodline and the existential dread that comes from it and possibly being a dead link...

That's.....a good point, actually. I did offer a few friendly drinks to anything that may take an interest while I was there, and then I had a door open and slam shut on its own once I had the booze ready. So maybe it was her coming by? (I did try to say "don't do that' in broken Japanese, but it may have come across like a parent scolding a child when I pointed at the door and shouted "悪い".Things did slow down after that....)
