It's Picross with Vocaloid artwork rewards when you complete the puzzles. So if you like Picross you'll probably like it. If you haven't played Picross it's similar to Sudoku in that it's primarily a logical deduction game with numbers, (i know this can't be that and that can't be this, so it must be THIS).
There's quite a bit of puzzles to it which is nice and some of the artwork is good. There is a jukebox that can play in the background and a little chibi character (can select from different characters) that reacts to your puzzle solving.
I never played Picross before getting it but enjoy logic puzzles and it was a good time-filler.
I think my favorite style they had were the split puzzles where each puzzle you solve is a portion of a larger image. Wish they did that with larger sized boards.

I think I get it now. Project Voltage is just about making Pokemon songs first and foremost, putting as much references as they are capable of, no matter how mediocre or awful the song ends up.
