Nope. Lodger rooms are different from normal rooms, and there's plenty of code that relies on them being specifically marked as such, and forcing them to be used would only cause further issues. Plus, it wouldn't make much sense since most of the rooms the player can use are owned by people, and are only available to the player if the landlord likes them enough, so letting random strangers move in would look kinda off.
Plus, having unique features makes the various maps more distinct and interesting. There's supposed to be a trade-off between locations, after all.
