Considering they're both ultimately under Sony I'm honestly surprised that Mizuno is being pushed more than Aikawa. 81Produce at least tends to treat their newbies well. If you're a newbie with them and you get a big role, you're assured of at least some more following for a while. Even Tanaka had Two Car and I think a handful of others, but for some reason, she never was cast in anything as big as Umaru. Meanwhile with other agencies it's like you get one big role but after that, it can be a coin toss if you get more. SOL and CGDCT series seem particularly known for this, where a newbie would play a main role, even the protagonist, but they're in barely anything else afterwards. Though SOLs and CGDCT series tend to get newbies anyway so it could just be a case of overrepresentation.
