I don't have much issues with porn itself, but there's always this feeling that artist who seems not interested in lewds to be better, or rather more commendable than the common, like the old notion that anons who are asexual or don't masturbate to be wizards or something.
That's why when an artist like that, especially whose style is on the cute side, suddenly draws lewd or porn it kinda feels like he stooped down one level.
That speaks nothing for the work quality itself though and in the end it's not a big deal as long they keep making quality works, and ultimately liking lewds is as common as it gets. Shouldn't be seen as weird at all.
