Japan is now America's #1 debt holder, ahead of China.

I suggest you all start learning GLORIOUS NIPONESE before the elevens take over.

We already learned Japanese in order to play eroge.

Try /new/s instead.

Working on it. Started learning the Hiragana alphabet and doing 10 a day with my free time until I know both that and Katakana. Then the fun starts, Kanji.

I'll be literate within the year!

With our military might, all we have to say is. "What debt?"

Bring it on you yellow chinks.

Congratulations, the rest of the world imposes economic sanctions on the US. Seeing as most of our economic strength comes from services rather than industry or farming, we can expect rampant famine within 3 months of going "what debt" and trying to throw our military penis around. If we actually use our military to force countries to aid us, the rest of the world will have the justification it needs to invade the mainland US, to which we would not be able to stop, though we'd certainly bloody them quite a bit.

>> No.4409750

I'm disappointed, /jp/.
In the old /jp/, any mention of debt and Keynes would have started a heated debate on whether Keynesian economics is practical or not.

Now account for what portion of said "boom" is from Keynesian deficit spending.

> United States is the breadbasket of the world, we produce all the food
> famine and starvation

Good one, China. Have fun feeding your people.

>> No.4409959

>>4409829

Our food production isn't the problem; it's the fact that if the entire world decided that it did not want US services, a large portion of the US would not be able to buy food from its own farmers, just like in many third world countries.

I was actually thinking of taking Japanese, maybe I'll use this as an excuse so my dad doesn't beat me.

>> No.4410008

>>4409987

It's still a pretty bad excuse. Just tell him that you'd be more likely to apply yourself in studying Japanese than French or Spanish. If you succeed, you'll show him that you're perfectly capable of learning latin-based languages with ease due to mastering a language more foreign than what's typically offered.
