Just read KT's scene with Shiki. So he doesn't solely have medp but his original power is to see the impossible basically? And it's because of this that he can see Akiha's origami(likened to a curse) and give form to SHIKI in this scene?
In Remake he wonders if the reason he can see the curses of Ciel and Noel is because he's becoming a vampire. I guess this is likely foreshadowing to his original power? And after seeing the principle and focusing on it his consciousness connects to Vlov? Similar to Nero, though he saw Nero's present thoughts while seeing Vlov's past and the CM's words. Mahoyo was a super big never ever and first TM VN officially translated ever. It was a double never ever combined into something greater than the sum of it's parts.
Tsukihime is relatively recent and just got a very high quality fan TL. The novelty factor is gone and we also know the translation we will get here will be of lesser quality than the fanTL.
There's also how now that we know TsukiR is getting a official translation the chances of Red Garden getting the Tsukihimates translation are very slim, either because Red Garden will get day 1 English or because it'll get it anyway one or two years later down the road, meaning that Tsukihimates won't want to waste their time and effort.
