I'll admit fully that there's something to this. /jp/ responds to too many threads it doesn't like. Now, there is an element of "slow board boredom" to this, but it's still overdone.
On the other hand, deriding the "sage" tool as if it's an automatic admission of low post quality/idiocy is just as stupid. It's not as if most of /jp/ only uses sage as their knee-jerk reaction to freshly-posted troll threads or something. Hell, I use sage in threads I LIKE if my post is off-topic.
