They are everything wrong with modern games: low effort cashgrabs that are all pay2win, have the exact same kuso "gameplay", take advantage of the serotonin losers get from gambling, rape franchises that could get a proper game instead of exploiting nostalgia, and to add insult to injury you can't even own them, when the eastern nosebergs decide that the game is no longer a cash cow they will shut it down and take it down forever. You invested too much money on unlocking your crap PNGs and lazily made unity sprites that all use that fucking stupid Pet Society-like tweening? lmao too bad.

Gacha, as a system, isn't that bad.
It's the other practices often associated with gacha games that's a problem. Things like low effort gameplay, shallow gameplay mechanics that is cloned directly from more successful game, overall reliance on waifubait, but most importantly the "game as a service" bullshit that turns me off of it.
I do play and spend money on a gacha game though.
