Feasible army, not many territories needed, worked for two star. Turn count is high cause I wasted time raising affection to get character bonuses.
Monkey route.
If you you recruited the maids or took the Mouri bonus, even easier.
The trick is sending 6 units no matter what, adjusting your units well(send your less powerful units against Koshikage and Tourin) and abusing good abilities for the other two(Natori's ability, Maria Double Firing, Kenshin and Uruza vs Yamagat along with someone who has All-Guard etc)

Turns mean nothing on the first playthrough, if you don't use a lot of help from guides etc. you'll have 0 points anyway. It's even meant to be like that, see Alice's Mansion.

that looks fine, even though I wouldn't really vassal anything execpt the ninjas perhaps. You can buff up the footsoldiers a bit and put one in front and back and use Natori's miko storm 2 and/ or Marias Tulip continuous shot and should be able to get past pretty much anything they throw at you like that.

If you don't get along like this maybe go back and try to prevent war with Tanukis and Takeda at once. I usually get Tokugawa, then Uesugi, THEN Takeda.

You should stop him from getting any Com towers, since they will boost his stats. Also try to cap his Com towers along the sides of the map. Wait until his army moves around the mountains and quickly cross them with mechs to capture his HQ

Why do people have so much trouble with sengoku rance? The only time I had a problem was on my very first game, when xavier appeared and took over everything, which only happened because I conquered pretty much exactly the countries leading to a much sooner awakening.

Declare war with them. Wait for them to blitz you and survive each of the 4 attacks. You then get a start of turn event with Rance talking to Suzume about finding their secret or something. It's relatively low priority, I had to wait a few turns for it to appear. Once you view the event you can then 'Assassinate Shingen' at which point 1 general will leave while the other 3 will leave and randomly join another army, apart from Masamune's of course. You must then capture all of them and then send them into a fight together. Took me well over a 100 turns for it to happen and ended up losing my waifu during the blitz. It's kinda worth it though.. I guess.

Also I may be wrong, the last time I played Sengoku Rance was about 4-5 months ago.

Baba is not a problem as long he uses his commander charge early on a decent footsoldier. Attacking his unit is a suicide though
Yamagata is the fucking terminator. I'd recommend using Kenshin and Uruza on him to remove two of his actions. If attacking Baba's unit was a suicide then attacking his unit is VERY suicide

For such castle defenses, consider bringing a Monk to nullify the Guard, Natori to do her special attack, ALL UNIT capable attackers or maybe a couple ninjas for assassinate. If you are desperate, warriors with side attack can do that too. There are many ways to bypass footsoldiers.

Suzume's assassinate 2, Isoroku's whirlwind shot etc. I can't recall what happens if you vassal since I never personally done it but you basically lose out on the NP from the territory and the faggot you recruit from Asai-Asakura gives you +1 NP to all of your currently owned territories which is great. I don't think so. you can just increase her stats or level so she can kick even moar ass(what I do since her level cap is 68 and because...) or you can beef up her troops(not recommended since ...footsoldiers are cheaper to expand)

You get some points for finishing the game, which you should use to purchase Elina. You are forced into the true history route on your first playthrough, it doesn't matter how many points you have after you've cleared it.. you can go into whatever route you want. That's what I'm telling you - You don't need points. You just need to follow the specific actions to get onto the route. Use the Rance wiki to give you a basic guide on how to get onto each of the routes. The Ran route has no demon army.

the kill the monkey route was added with a later patch so you need to unlock it in the second playthrough menu. Same thing if you want to recruit Shizuka. All other routes were available from the start so you can access them without spending points.
