Suppose the code in Ep3 and 4 is Battler's birthday and the man's birthday. Beato's obsession with Battler explains the first part. But the second? If it is his birthday, there should be some connection.

Asumu and Kyrie both gave birth on presumably the same day. What if Battler's real birthday was on 29 November the year before? There is nothing to verify his actual birthday, and Battler obviously can't recall the circumstances of his birth. The only people who would know for sure are Rudolf and Kyrie. It also allows the baby Natsuhi killed to have been Asumu's Battler and gives Battler reason to want to take revenge, as he was the baby who was originally supposed to be killed.

Of course I don't believe Battler was the murderer in Ep5, but it's just hypothetical.
