Fools! Choosing "Nice pants" takes you off of the Mokou route and onto the Letty route.

For the most progress down the Mokou path, you go for the hidden 4th choice: "Ask her to escort you."

That little remark seams to have lightened her mood a bit, because now she's looking up at you with a kind of soft laugh.
"Where did you get them?"

"Well uh, I made them, actually.."
"Is that so?"
"Well, I'm not much of a tailor, but I make my own clothes."
"Maybe you can make me a pair like those sometime. I think they're really cool." At first she's a bit reticent, and confused, almost surprised about it. When she realizes what you're saying, both of you lightly laugh and continue talking for a bit.

Suddenly, you see a creature lurking in the shadows by a nearby bush. This place seams bizzare. It's turned from bright daytime to night in just a few minutes. What seamed to be a short conversation, almost seams unbelievable as the environment around you changes. It seams unreal, and you get a bit hesitant to stay.

[ ] "well, I've got to be going now. Can you take me out?"
[ ] "Why are you out here all alone? And what is this place?"
[ ] Check your backpack you suddenly realized you're carring, and see if there's anything useful there.
[ ] "Do you have any friends that can show me around this new place? I don't feel safe with just the two of us out here alone."

The girl amusedly laughs at the statement.
"All the way out here, in a desolate place? You're quite a strange one."
She then explains...
"This is the land of Gensokyo. A place of obandoned tales and youkai.. This particular area we're at is the Bamboo Forest of Lost. I'm surprised they didn't find you before I did. From the looks of it, you probably mindlessly went hiking and somehow ended up here. It's probably because of the fairies. People get lost because of the fairies."
"Fairies?"
"Or youkai."
"What?"
"There's nobody else here with you? Did you come all alone out here?"
"Yes, I'm alone" you reply. "What about you? What are you doing out here all alone?"

She doesn't answer the question. Instead the expression on her face turns a bit grim. She gets up and starts walking away.
"Hey, wait up!" you call out for her. She's not pacing herself, instead it seams like you almost have to run to catch up to her as she swiftly walks away behind the bamboo shoots.
Moving them aside as you run to catch up, you feel something get caught under your foot, which refuses to let go and you trip before you know it.
THUMP
Expecting to get some pain on your face from the fall, something broke your fall, a soft surface. But you're too disoriented to look at it at this second, and just try to get up. After just a push up you see bright red and white. Those pants... Did you just fall on her?
"Eitetete..."
"Oh, I'm so sorry!" You say in reflex.
It takes a second for her to realize it, but when she turns around to look back up at you, she realizes you're suspended only a few inches above her body.
The awkwardness starts to kick in, you feel like a complete idiot. At the same time, you realize her beauty, naturally being so close to a girl and in this position you can't help it. From this angle, you can see the concealed shape of her body she hid. "She's a bit young", you think to yourself.
"Hey, are you going to stay there and keep me down all day?" She asks, bringing you back to the moment.
