Do you prefer the Palace of the Earth Spirits or the Scarlet Devil Mansion?

As much as I enjoy a good classical mansion, the Palace of Earth Spirits. It somehow has a gloomier vibe and I can get behind that. Scarlet Devil Mansion looks clean and cared for but the Palace looks like it's haunted.

If you somehow managed to befriend Satori and ended up living in the Palace, probably the former. It just seems more safer then the mansion filled with fairies, vampires, a timestopping maid, whats in the Palace of Earth Spirits? A mindreading youkai, a cat, a bird and some green hair girl. I also find the isolated gloomy mansion more comfy

Bird might give you cancer if you're just a regular human so that's definitely a down side.

To be fair, bird spends a lot of time out of the house and in some sort of nuclear reactor, so you might not see her often, besides a little bit of radiation poisoning is good for building character

There are also many pets around

Don't imagine it smells great there unless Satori also has servants running around cleaning the place.

If you lived in the mansion, you may as well be considered one of those pets

I like Chireiden residents better, but it's way more dangerous than SDM.
For one, we know that SDM, even Remi herself, are fairly friendly to humans, as they invite randos to their parties all the time. Hell, in some cases, even outsiders (See: Maribel) are welcome.
You can just be a maid, and basically just have to avoid ever pissing off, or maybe even just encountering Flandre altogether.

Chireiden, meanwhile, has a few issues. For one, it's in former hell, which is far more dangerous than Misty Lake.
Second, the residents. SDM residents are mostly fairies. Chireiden residents are mostly animals and spirits. Both of which you can't communicate with. You might get eaten by a tiger randomly.
Third, Koishi. Unlike Flandre, which is a NEET that often just stays to herself, Koishi can be anywhere. And she's one of the most unpredictable characters ever. She can literally be friendly to you and stab you before she finishes her next sentence.

Also former hell is literally underground and it's mostly populated by rowdy onis so you better watch out lmao

>> No.42201828

The SDM might also be uncomfortably dangerous. I expect Remilia to behave (she's a light eater), but the fairies might not understand the concept of mortality, and decide to enroll you in surprise danmaku games.
