Shkannon is pretty much in some way confirmed, although I doubt they're the overall mastermind as much as a primary culprit.

Although I'm sure Kyrie is involved in some way too. Not that she's Beatrice, but probably involved.

I doubt that's what they're saying but I chuckled.

Kyrie and Nanjo are definitely involved. They both received assurance of a ton of money prior to the Island trip. (The Bank Deposit Card's were a delayed payment).

My bet is, there is one Culprit X, who has conspired for a long time to set up the murders. This culprit set up the bomb that goes off at Midnight of the Second Day.

There are then, other Conditional Murderers, who take advantage of the situation on Rokkenjima based on circumstances. They make the puzzle more confusing because they can kill Culprit X.

Thus the active murderers for each game continuously changes based on:

1) Whether or not Culprit X is murdered by a Conditional Murderer.

2) Whether or not the Epitaph is solved, thus activating a Conditional Murderer.

3) Whether or not certain conversations take place (the result of the Krauss blackmail, etc).

4) Who is killed during the first few twilights can probably activate other murderers.

So, I think even if we have Shannon and Kannon as active murderers, they aren't necessarily the real Culprit X.
