Sure but that's always happened. I'm just wondering why now of all times in the face of global issues? I have to imagine there's some thought and strategy given to relocation. My perception is that Japan is in a significantly better place than most other countries socially and on par with most others economically. What's a reading speed for japanese in terms of characters per hour or something like that I can use as a point of comparison?
I've been reading WNs for a week or 2, and I realize now that if I write down the starting character number and then wherever I am at the end of the day, a nd divide the delta of those numbers per the number of hours I kept jidoujisho on on my phone, I should get a very rought characters per hour reading speed of me atm.
