I agree that your giant list of posts is strange, that it's probably the same person spamming, and that it's most likely someone from the hololive general, however, the motive doesn't make any sense to me. What exactly is this behavior supposed to accomplish? The hololive threads almost always reach post limit. Here are the last 10 hololive threads:

Every single one of them reached the post limit of 1501 posts and new /hlg/ threads are not allowed to be made before the old one dies. So forcing them to page 10 wouldn't have accomplished anything.

I think what may be happening instead is that when a hololive general reaches post limit and dies, several users (usually 3 to 6) immediately attempt to create a new thread. Several minutes later, mods then delete all of them except for the one with the most replies. Since the majority of users probably don't use the catalog view sorted by creation date, I think someone believes that if he bumps his hololive thread and all of the other threads on the board besides the competing hololive threads in that moment, his thread is more likely to be seen and posted in and thus survive. That's probably why the spamming stops once the new thread is chosen.

We never asked for a board, we don't like content or moderation there and have a right to be here because vtubers are an extension of japanese net culture and japanese idol culture. If the mods disagree they can forcefuly remove us. Most of the problems other threads seem to have with us stem from moderation being passive agressive towards us instead of laying out clear rules. As someone who uses those threads, that's not quite how it works. The Hololive threads have a unique, unwritten rule applied to them where rather than the first thread made being the new thread it's the first thread that's made after the previous thread dies. That combined with the thread being faster than usual for this board lends itself to a bunch of people trying to make threads to be the one who makes the new thread the moment after the current thread gets pruned. This usually happens even if the thread being used is more popular than the one that's 'correct' but there are times where it's not consistent and a popular thread gets kept or even just a random thread that isn't the most used or the first one after the previous got pruned.

A post like >>41735812 to funnel people to a single thread can't exist in those threads because the thread it's linking to would be deleted. I'm not actually sure getting rid of this rule would help the new thread spam because it has already cultivated a thread culture where they care dearly what the OP is now and it may just lead to them moving the thread spam to the earliest point where it's allowed but I do think the rule is what caused it and it doesn't help to keep it.

The honest answer? It's a completely different community.
The users on /vt/ are mostly newfags and unironic reddit users that started watching vtubers with HololiveEN or NijisanjiEN. They mostly don't talk about any of the Japanese talent in Hololive.
The board is constantly brigaded by twitter, discord groups, and SEA that hate "idol culture" and try to push for male/female collabs and such. It's gotten to the point where there is so much in-fighting that the board is completely unusable. And I haven't even mentioned the cross-company tribal fights that occur there either.

Despite all this conflict and shitposting, the mods there are extremely strict about enforcing /vt/'s retarded rules, which state you aren't allowed to talk about or even hint at a vtuber's real identity (aka their "roommate") or any of their past online identities or their other online personas, even if it's all public knoweledge or widely known. It's ridiculous. It feels as if it's a board run by the companies and people that it's talking about, which is completely antithetical to the spirit of 4chan, anyway.

The question is which one(s) it would be. The only general I regularly visit and am aware that early OPs are frowned upon in complained about recent threads dying faster (blaming Hololive) and rarely reaches the image limit these days, the spam is uncoordinated with that one. Dude you have no idea. I'm aware the thread schizo is not something only we deal with, but the problem here is that there is most likely a group or even mulitple ones. Although the most frequent culprit seems to be one dude by the posting style and phrases used.
To puit it simply hololive thread on /jp/ is hated by a lot of other vtuber fans because hololive is the most populat vtuber company which paints a big target on our back, vtuber haters in general are more likely to target hololive because it's the biggest and fastest thread, /vt/ fags hate us because we're elitists who refuse to move, because we're only interested in japanese vtubers and not the foreign off-shoots that are very popular on /vt/. There's also the simple appeal of trying to piss of people and the biggest and fastest thread gets the most responses.
But still, the most frequent culprit will spend most of his waking hour shifting between several modes, either talking shit about individual vtubers to get responses, pretending to be a fan of a particular vtuber to create fanbase wars, go onto /vt/ and encourage them to raid the thread, copy paste posts from previous thread, copy paste posts from /vt/ he thinks will get responses, spam images until he hits the limit and so on.
A lot of people ignore or filter those posts because we see then daily and easily recognize them, them he just responds to himself for hours
He edits images so he can repost them mutiple times per thread and evades filters

First, I'm not a teen or even a zoomer. I've been here a very unfortunately long amount of time.
Second, that's not quite correct. /vt/ was created as a response to western vtubing starting to become more popular, specifically with the debut of HololiveEN in September 2020. (/vt/ was created January 2021 and this is why /vt/ is sometimes colloquially referrred to there as "the Hololive board".

Right after the HoloEN debuts, /hlg/ users constantly complained about users posting about the EN branch and drowning out the discussion of the Japanese talents. It was also argued that Western vtuber companies like Vshojo had even less to do with Japanese culture than the Western branches of Japanese companies like Hololive, despite vtubing itself having its roots in Japanese culture. This came to a head in December 2020 with moderators finally agreeing that there was a shift in both thread culture and content and from what I understand, the mods from here then got together and proposed the creation of /vt/ to give fans of Western vtubers and Western vtuber companies their own board. The admins having little to do with the creation of /vt/ is evidenced by the fact that despite being the newest board on 4chan, it never received an announcement at the top of the webpage under the Reply to Thread button like /vrpg/, /vmg/, /vst/, and /vm/ received and its creation was never even added to the 4chan news blotter: https://www.4channel.org/blotter
