Yup, she's my favorite character. According to https://gachaguide.com/gacha_calculator 2600 cubes = 520 rolls = ~92.5% chance of getting her. Pretty good but you can always have a bad day, and a 1/13.3333.. chance of getting screwed is absolutely not impossible.
Fortunately I have 3 god cube rolls worth. Adding a few 10% flat drop chances should help a lot. I'm temped to get that $10 nitori pack for 2 more rolls worth of extra insurance.

Most of the time on an EX quest their resistances will be split, I guess at least they sometimes have the decency so that they don't resist eachother's elements, but still.

It's good to have, especially when you have to burn through a ton of barriers too. All depends on the character as a whole though. Blue Reimu and Beach Yukari are the strongest characters in the game but someone like Loli Yuyuko struggles to make an impact in any current content.

Yes, they destroy stuff that's weak to them, but of course the downside is that they're more situational. There's a lot of challenge content out there with a bunch of resistances. I personally prefer half and half LWs, like hunter flan's, but mono-elements are still nice to have around for when they fit into the puzzle. On the other hand rainbow and even triple element last words are going a bit far in the other direction imo.

Did manage to buy all the important things in the shop even with the 100 extra points needed for the music doll. Really not much of an issue going forward. Did not even use all the stamina from the event yet. Still have 2 whole stacks of it to buy.

I agree that the Hifuu EoSD chapter was weirdly written towards the end but I actually really love the antagonistic Sakuya. If they were to play with these character switchups that are more "what ifs" closer in line to the real Touhou in Hifuu chapters I'd look forward to them much more than this weird multiverse shit in the main story. Some ideas I have are;
- Eirin doesn't entertain Kaguya staying on Earth and Kaguya is on the run from Eirin
- Suwako didn't lose to Kanako, maybe having Kanako following them to Gensokyo trying to get revenge
- Koishi not closing her third eye, or even Koishi and Satori switching places in terms of that

Converting proud into normal cubes isn't efficient.
Proud cubes should be used for infrastructure upgrades, friend or card slots, ascending step ups and costumes, from a F2P perspective, in no particular order of priority.
Depending on how big of a whale you're gonna be, and how much of a latelet you are, the 72 hour banners at half the price. If you're not a latelet then the descending step ups are marginally better when going all in, more so if there's costumes you don't have in the end.

God cube rolls are a significant improvement over normal cube rolls. 0.5% -> 10% banner character chance. But the standard 600 cost is a lot, only spend that on stuff like epic banners. The 60gc banners are virtually always worth it.

Nazrin was described as the strongest unlimited friend, she has a good Water+Metal spread and good killers. Going for an element you lack is a good idea so you might consider Mayumi or Takane too for Earth/Wood + Metal.

Unless you are in need of a specific general pool unit right now (e.g. new players) there isn't much to lose to wait to see if it's updated.
Worst case you get every friend in the pool before we find out it doesn't get updated, so it basically becomes a paper doll for general pool, not a huge loss.

What should I be farming in this game? Like, spending my stamina

I assume I need lots of mlb copies of each boss story cards, but how much? When is it time to farm another one? I ask this, because I decided to farm WotSD, and without noticing, I had +30 mlb copies. There's currently a new EFES friend out (Yukari Yakumo (Boundary of Sand and Sea)) that you could reroll for. No spark but the pull rate is the same as ever.

You get 140 pulls total. 40 of them from daily sign-ins and 100 from meeting objectives. These are:
>Raise a Unit to Level 70
>Limit break a Unit once
>Upgrade a Unit once
>Awaken a Unit once
>Refill the Food in School once
>Enhance a Unit once
>Enhance a Story Card once
>Complete 1 Errand
>Finish training in the Dojo once
>Superior Enhance a Friend’s HP once

Most of these can be done in short order. Raising a unit to lvl 70 might take some time and I'm not sure if you get superior enhancement materials that early, but the others should be quickly doable. But know that your rates are better on the main banner, so don't just rely on these freebies. Best dump absolutely everything and repeat if no dice.

In a weird way, yes. SFES and FES power has been pretty stable recently, but they added two whole new tiers of units- MV/Relic friends and EFES friends. Both types are stronger than anything else in the game. So it's powercreep but also completely expected because that's the whole point of adding a new unit class.

Not necessarily. WoSD is the one drop card that you want many of because it's in universally high demand. And the more you have the less time you have to spend shuffling them around.

Getting black screens when pressing buttons on the home screen is a recurring issue and I've seen multiple anons here complain about it

MV Alice is a really strange character. She's an Attack type but is arguably closer to a Support type or maybe a Technical type.

She has party buffs for agility, yin def, yin atk, crit atk, accuracy, and quite a lot of party spirit power generation (more than SFES Re'isen). She also gives the party +2 shields.
And then she has debuffs for crit evasion, crit def, yang def, yin def, and can inflict paralysis. Very wide buffing/debuffing but not too much depth.

Her elements are bizarre. She has the only solo-element spellcard in the game outside of Dai, that being her 100% star single-target spellcard. Her All-target card is sun/moon and then her Last Word is 100% rainbow: wood, fire, earth, star, metal, water. In terms of anomaly breaks she has a 3 barrier auto-break on her solo card, a blind break on her All card, and burn and paralyze on her LW.

Damage. Compared to MV Remi her base damage is lower but she has better slayers: youkai, fairies, parallel existences, masterminds, moon, and nobility.

Mixed last words are so uncommon I didn't even check. So her star card is all yin, her sun/moon card is half and half, and her LW is also half and half. Not great considering her lack of direct yang atk buffs. Though she does get +1 to all offensive stats for each layer of paralysis she has. She gives 3 to self via skill and 1 to self through her 2nd spellcard.

There is no point in playing a Touhou game without your favorites so don't focus on gaymeplay. She will sooner or later have a rerun, so start saving if you really like brooding Remis. Otherwise, pic related shows future Relic 2hus, which are expected to be at least very very good.
A character is strong if she either: has an absurd number of breaks, has an absurd damage scaling, has an absurd amount of utility, or any combination of those, which happens more likely than not for recently released units. Old 2hus can still work in this regard, depending on the sp cost for the Rebirth mechanic, or how you enable them to complement each other.
The "meta" clear consists of 5 - 8 sp farming events up to certain milestones, which used to be 250k points for the paper doll, then it moved to coins + sp + lotto + whatever from the event store, and now is at least 150 rare points for the EPIC doll + whatever to clear what you need from the store.
Tower is hard if you just started playing. As soon as you start unlocking LWs it will quickly turn out to be easy enough to ignore until the last day.
Actual hard content consists of Character EX and Elemental EX stages. The former are balanced according to JP, which is not balanced at all, the later are actually balanced according to some mechanic (you may or not be able to accomplish depending on your 2hus, like Moon requiring AoE Moon nukers, Fire requiring 2 ST Fire nukers, Water requiring strong Water or strong mage + human killer nukers, and Star requiring Edge Flan or Banana Reisen [so far]).

elemental exs are much more fun with both the mechanics that encourage an intended strat while leaving lots of room to experiment (moon ex being solo stallable and also regularly soloable due to the lack of self healing, fire ex being soloable due to its spellcard restores, L1 cirno being really funny in water ex, L1 meiling's spellcards being able to almost take out witch of scarlet dreams in star ex)

You can get by without needing to purple heart anyone.
You'd be surprised how many units can farm events without any issue.
You also only really need 3 or so in the school to have an infinite cycle going, I also throw in other units that aren't in the school just to level them up if they can 1T a node

Beach Yukari and MV Remilia are both extremely strong. Yukari has better support and Remilia has better breaking. They both do overkill damage. Yukari is probably better to have though because her support is one-of-a-kind right now.
