I just started EraToho the World, and I got two questions:

1) Is there any advice or tactics on how to farm dosh?

2) Where the hell can you plant and farm things? The tutorial says to look for specific land plots, but I've been all over and for the life of me I cannot see it.

At first do some requests, that should help a little bit. You can buy farmland in the village flower store and it's one of if not the best money farm out there is.
I recommend selling whatever you grow in the underworld, and especially so during special days. Maybe get someone with high speech to go with you? If you have E in speech it might not yield you much solo. Oh and get all farm slots, don't just sit on only one.
Gotta pray to boob gods, but they're very, very unreliable. Random chance to even proc the prayer, so you can go half a year with a prayer in consideration, and then you've only got 1/3 chance to get the outcome you want, and 1/3 to get knocked out.
Some girls can do it through update or first meeting. If you can't wait, you can always just cheat. Reach for the stars.

Sumireko's whole angle feels really out of place with the rest of TW.
It never checks for age or anything, so she's apparently classmates with some ancient geezer (though I think Tsukasa is probably the only character who uses that trait to any serious extent), but even outside of that, it just feels like it doesn't work with TW's setting at all.
Everywhere else, you're basically just an outsider who ended up in Gensokyo, where you live, work, breed, and get molested in your sleep. It's hard to reconcile that with the idea that you're just astral projecting yourself in your sleep like Sumireko does.

Wait there is a dojo at the Myouren Temple? Usually what seems to give me the most exp is making people combat train with me, not the "join exercise" one. Not sure what's the reason for that, but I have found that Ran is a beast for training Knowledge and Fighting, you gain more exp with her than with Yukari for some reason. So you might want to consider a training arc living in the Sanzu River, it's comfy and no one really bothers you there if you live in the Yukari household.

I enjoy training with Yuugi, personally.
