You should eject the first disk from the drive and mount the second disk in the virtual drive with exactly the same drive letter as the first one. Some installers are quite picky about that and don't try to enumerate all the drives to find the second disk instead trying to find it in the same place as the first one.

"Sound novel" was always a weird term for me. It worked with Higurashi because there were no voices and the sound effects contributed immensely to the atmosphere. When they added voices it stopped being a sound novel. I can't use sound novel for anything with voices but having no voices isn't enough for me to call it sound novel either. I'm having trouble installing the first Demonbane game on my Windows XP VM.
On Windows 10, it can't install at all. With XP, at least it can install, but then it fails the disc check when I try to run it, whether the disc is mounted or not. Sakura moyu is my favorite vn that came out in the last decade if you missed that out.
There is also Tsukihime remake but only 2 routes and needs an emulator; Meikei no Lupercalia is very good if you like theater performances; Hakuchuumu but it's a pretty mixed bag for many and you need to like the classical melodramas to enjoy it; Fuyukuru is fun and short game if you don't mind the Watanabe autism with some top tier h scenes and music; And of course, Henpri which is insanely popular everywhere right now and people here seems to enjoy it so far.

Sakura no Kumo has a pretty cute Ojou sama route in it. The game starts out kinda slow but gets pretty interesting by the 2nd half.
You could also play one of the untranslated Alcot games. 中の人などいない is a fun ride that I've never heard anyone else recommend before.
Sad thing is neither of those games' ojou samas are the haughty type.
Also be warned that Garasu isn't that stuck up towards anyone in Monkeys! unless they're a boy.
