Angra possessed Shirou and inherited his memories and personality. It’s more like a split personality that manifests more during his talks with Caren since her and Shirou never talked to each other. On regular SoL morning events it’s usually Shirou being his regular self. Angra starts appearing more towards the end of the game due to his body breaking down from repeating the loop for so long and wanting it to end. He appears at the end with Illya since Illya is the only one from the regular cast to truly acknowledge him as a person and not a 0 or void of nothingness. It’s acknowledging to him that his efforts have been for something as he’s become his own self during the events of HA.

I like it since it drives home the point of her inhumanity and how miraculous her encounter with Shiki is supposed to be despite all odds. In remake Arcueid never speaks in a flashback. It's just Roa gazing at her as she stands like a statue or Arc showing up to obliterate him. TL ironically has Arc talking exactly like if she had already been killed by Shiki during her scenario but it's basically just lifted straight out of old Melty which in itself is just a reference to her tripping over rocks and about to encounter Shiki. If anything, Roa in remake seems jealous and pissed off at how Arcueid behaves toward Shiki and views her as fallen compared to the image of her from when he first encountered her.

That's not how fight works. Shiki was bloodlusted doing some retarded Nanaya ninja shit against Akiha, while he never showed any killing instinct against Ciel. Just because Akiha is potentially capable of beating Ciel doesn't mean that Shiki shouldn't be able to beat Akiha, as the two situations are completely different.

Even if he could theoretically get a Nanaya mental amp off Ciel by recognizing her as inhuman somehow, going off Ciel route where he's physically buffed by vampirism even if he actually tried to kill Ciel she explicitly has to let him hit her even with her shortest range weapon, not even just throwing a bunch of keys at him. Shiki can't even sneak up on Ciel in the remake, he actually can't touch her unless she wants him to and she just blitzes him. Even the bad ending in Akiha route where he does kill her is because she lets him stab her

These two situations are still very distinct. Shiki was in his worst mental state at this point in the route and never intended to fight Ciel, even in the bad ending when he decides to take off his glasses, he barely had any killing instinct towards her. In addition to this, the location of the two fights are also very different, most of the fight against Ciel was in an open field, while against Akiha it was probably the most optimal location for him to use his abilities to the fullest, combined with the Nanaya retarded genes which clearly push his killing instinct against inhuman to the next level. Again, fights aren't as linear as you make it sound.
