i have put meaning and word on front of cards. i test just for reading.

i came to this conclusion because anything else seems redundant. even with sentences cards - all the sentences that came before and after a new word - that let ripen the proper memory are missing - this is even mentioned by tae kim (firehose method).

the reading on the other hand is the single thing you can and should brute force memorize.

if you test just for reading you are ALOT faster done and can get back to true immersion.
frustration and attention levels arent taxed as much either its closer to the "browsing"
